Netjib is pleased to announce the release of a new e-commerce website Les Tricots de Margot.

Specialising in high quality - yet affordable - baby clothes made of 100% cashmere, this new London-based start-up is sourcing all her raw material direct from inner Mongolia and sells exclusively online to offer the best possible prices.

Project description:

Cashmere carries a feeling of warmth and luxury and the team at Les Tricots de Margot wanted a website design that would embody these qualities.

Special attention was paid toward providing a seamless and agreable shopping experience with numerous visual shortcuts for quick selection and dynamic photos for a closer look at the products.

Aimed at the UK and international market, the website needed to be available in several languages and have a supporting structure that could deal with different currencies and ways of shipping.

Viral marketing

Word of mouth being an integral part of the marketing mix at Les Tricots de Margot, the site also benefits from a close tie up with Facebook with a dedicated community page but also “I like” buttons.

Available on every single product, these allow visitors to let all their Facebook connections know about their latest find, resulting in free viral advertising.

Development

Designed and developed by Netjib, the website uses NOP Commerce, a free open-source e-cart and store management platform as its back-end.

Les Tricots de Margot is currently available in English and French, with more languages on the way.
