Welcome to the first entry of my blog and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Although it took me a while to take the plunge, I actually feel quite excited at the thought of posting and sharing ideas and hopefully provide some interesting insight in the life of Netjib.

My name is David PHILIPPE, I am thirty-two years old and I live in Chatterton village in Bromley with my partner Marylin and our daughter.

I have been involved in web design / online marketing for nearly ten years and at the end of 2008 decided to set up my own business. This was something I wanted to do for quite a long time and a house move to the Sussex coast seemed the perfect opportunity to start fresh.

Sadly the house deal fell through but the business venture stayed and Netjib has now been trading for 9 months, trying to provide small and medium businesses and charities with a simple, affordable, yet professional web marketing service.

This last part is indeed very important for me because from the back of my parents’ shop to the multinational corporations I worked for, I came to realise that many small and medium organisations have a tremendous potential that would definitely benefit from a better online exposure.

Yet in a typical catch 22 scenario, most of them cannot afford to employ someone full time to look after their online presence, despite the fact that this would most certainly translate in the very same revenue that was missing in the first place.

With Netjib, dare I say that I hope to be able to change this paradox a little and help new and existing clients reach further.
